Fishing at Kingsbury
The River Tame
Winding its way along the Eastern border of Kingsbury Water Park, the River Tame will be opening for anglers for the first time at the start of the 2023 river season. From 16 June, a stretch of over 1.5km of river will be open to angling, starting by the Kingsbury road bridge and finishing by the Leys Brook outfall. We’ve been told that the river contains chub, barbel, and even some grayling, alongside other species.
Please note that River fishing is not permitted between 15 March and 15 June (inclusive), as outlined in the Salmon and Freshwater Fisheries Act (1975).
Please enter the park via the main entrance to obtain your day ticket from the fishing lodge ticket machine prior to fishing.
ALL fish must be returned to the river, NEVER put them into our lakes.
