Kingsbury Water Park
So much to see and do at Warwickshire’s premier waterside attraction! Kingsbury Water Park has 15 lakes situated in over 600 acres of country park. Stroll along the surfaced paths, explore hidden corners, spot birds and wildlife, hire a bike, join an organised event or host your own event. Whatever your idea of a countryside visit is, you will find it at Kingsbury.
Please note that swimming in any of the lakes is not permitted
The lakes are old gravel pits and therefore depths can vary, with the possibility of hidden obstructions under the water.
The water in the lakes is natural and untreated, and could contain Weil's disease (a bacterial infection also known as Leptospirosis that is carried by animals, most commonly in rats and cattle) as a result. It can be caught by humans through contact with rat or cattle urine, potentially through water transfer although the risks are low.
Warwickshire’s Country Parks have introduced a new cash-less car parking pay and display system to make it easier for visitors on arrival. Please note that cash-less payments are by card only and we are unable to accept payments via a smartphone or smartwatch. Permit holders do not need to buy a ticket from the machine and must clearly display their valid permit inside the vehicle with the end date visible. Broomey Croft car park at Kingsbury Water Park remains open to permit holders only. More visitor information on the changes Information on parking permits There are various events at our Country Parks throughout the year, check out the events list for the latest details. There are a wide range of activities at this country park. Make the Information Centre at Kingsbury Water Park your first port of call and you can get friendly advice and information to enable you to enjoy your day out in the country park to the full. We stock information leaflets on all the activities taking place in the parks, as well as maps to help you find your way around. Our Gift Shops stock a wonderful selection of countryside related gifts, toys, souvenirs and books at very reasonable prices. We are continuing to expand our range of sustainable or locally sourced items, particularly from local crafts people. The Information Centre is open every day except Christmas Day. We now have a new Changing Places Toilet at the Broomey Croft entrance. Visitors needing access can borrow a RADAR key and a barrier pass from the Visitor Centre at the main entrance. Both must be returned to the Visitor Centre afterwards. Car parking charges apply to all park visits. Toilet facilities available during park opening times. Please note – seasonal variations apply. The Information Centre has disabled access. Unfortunately visitors are unable to hire mobility scooters at this time. We apologise for any inconvenience caused. More information on accessibility can be found on the Kingsbury Water Park AccessAble site. Barbecues and fires are not allowed, but picnics are welcome.
