Fishing at Kingsbury

                                                    DRY NET POLICY

Due to the increase in Koi Herpesvirus (KHV) disease outbreaks, we are insisting all anglers ARRIVE at the fishery with dry nets, mats, slings and stink bags.  Please do not use any equipment that is damp as the virus can survive for 24 hours and could infect the fishery.

Please be vigilant and help us with the biosecurity of not just our fishery but all waters in the area.

An Environment Agency rod licence and a day ticket entitles anglers to fish with two rods from one peg. Anglers with two EA rod licences can purchase two day tickets of the same value to fish three rods from one peg.

Kingsbury fishing pools

To access Pine, Swann, Causeway, Mill, Willows and Bodymoor Heath Water anglers should use the main entrance barrier. There is a parking fee of £3.00 per car and the correct change is required for the machine.

Anglers fishing Heron, Kingfisher, Gibsons, and Cliff Pool South will need to exit the park after purchasing their day ticket, turn right onto Bodymoor Heath Lane which takes visitors over the M42 motorway and turn first right into the Broomey Croft entrance. They should then follow the road into the park and carry on past the Camping and Caravanning Club to the entrance barrier. There is a cheaper parking charge of £3.00 for this part of the park but anglers will still need the correct change for the machine.

Annual parking passes are available at £42.00 (there is a reduced price for disabled badge holders) available from the Information Centre or online.

Disabled angling

disabled anglingGibsons, Cliff Pool South, Causeway, Mill & Pine Pools all have purpose built easily accessible pegs for disabled or less able anglers to use. You can park right next to most of these pegs.

Gibsons pool pegs are accessible via a gate with a RADAR key lock. Please lock the gate behind you & carefully drive around to the designated parking area.
