The site comprises a series of rugged hilltops affording spectacular views in all directions and Fox Covert, a small woodland with a surfaced footpath. Opened as a country park in 1971, the 100 acres contain a wealth of historical interest such as the prominent beacon, quarry remains and the nearby 12th Century All Saints Church.”

There are regular Police patrols in both marked and unmarked vehicles at this park as part of ongoing monitoring operations. Please be aware, it is a contravention of the bylaws of the park to drive across the hills. Please report any 4×4 activity to the Police on 101 or Rangers, if on site.
- Hobbyist – We do not allow hobbyist drone flying in any of our parks, or greenways.
- Commercial Operations – A pilot requires permission of the landowner (WCC) to take off and land the drone on their property. We only permit a CAA licensed pilot/company. Any requests must be in writing to the Parks Manager firstname.lastname@example.org
