Children’s Creepy Crawlie Club

A fun 2 hour session of environmental games and activities investigating what’s in and around the park. It is affiliated to Wildlife Watch.

The Club is for children up to the age of 11 – children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult. The Club usually meets on the second Saturday of each month between 10 am and 12 noon. It costs just £1 per child. Contact one of the Rangers on 02476 305592 to join in the fun.

Kingsbury Kingfishers Wildlife Explorers

Wildlife Explorers is the junior section of the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB).  Our group aims to involve and inspire children through a fun, enjoyable mixture of outdoor and indoor activities, games and projects.

Regular sessions take place on the first Saturday of every month, meeting at Kingsbury’s Education Centre or at Middleton Lakes so please check the programme for details.  Sessions are aimed at children aged 8 – 12 years so that parents can leave if they wish, children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.

Costs: £1 for RSPB Wildlife Explorer members; £1.50 for non-members.

Time: 1:45pm – 4:00pm

Tame Valley Tawnies Phoenix Group

RSPB Phoenix is the teenage section of the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB).  Our group aims to involve young people in the environment, while developing their leadership skills through a fun, enjoyable mixture of outdoor and indoor activities, games and projects.

Regular sessions take place on the final Saturday of every month, meeting at Kingsbury’s Broomey Croft Car Park or at Middleton Lakes so please check the programme for details. Sessions are aimed at young people of secondary school age and above.

Costs: £1 for RSPB Phoenix members; £1.50 for non-members.

Time: 1:45pm – 4:15pm
